RAFFLESIA FINALLY FOUND IT'S FAMILY
Scientists have finally identified the family of the largest flower Rafflesia wollfia.This flower was discovered about 180 years ago by east india company officials in sumatran rainforest.The blood red colored rafflesia which smells like a rotten flesh belongs to the same family like castor oil or rubber plant.Rafflesia is a strange plant that doesn't have leaves,roots or stem but leaves as a parasite extracting
nutrients from other plants in the vicinity.It was discovered by Sir Stamford raffles after whom the flower was named.
